Abstract

In the current study, the author develops an instrument for measuring the third-party employees’ perception (TPEs) towards their internal job posting (IJP) by the client organization. A scale consisting of 11 items has been developed and checked for various dimensionalities. The paper also examines the impact of tenure of TPEs, with the client organization and gender on the IJP scale. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) was conducted for scale development. The results of EFA extracted one factor consisting of eight items, meeting all criteria of EFA. The study used t-test and ANOVA to examine the role of TPEs tenure and gender on perception of TPEs towards IJP. The current study validates the other studies in literature.
