FACTORS INFLUENCING THE POLITICAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF YOUTH IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract. The political consciousness of youth is an important indicator of the state of political culture and socio-political processes in a country. This article examines the main factors influencing the political consciousness of youth in Uzbekistan. The influence of socio-economic conditions, education, media, and both traditional and modern values is analyzed. Based on data from sociological research, the authors highlight key trends and offer recommendations for improving political education and the involvement of youth in political processes. The study includes an analysis of the role of education, media, socio-economic status, and cultural traditions in shaping the political views and beliefs of youth. The authors note that to increase the level of youth political participation in the country, greater attention should be given to civic education, ensuring access to independent and diverse informational resources, and supporting youth initiatives in the political sphere.
