Abstract

This study looks at how internal communication affects employee performance in private sector banks in Uttarakhand, India. Internal communication is critical in increasing employee engagement, job satisfaction, and overall productivity inside firms. Using a rigorous case study methodology, the paper investigates various communication channels and techniques used by banks to foster a cohesive and engaged workforce. The findings show that clear communication, active involvement of top management, and timely release of information greatly reduce ambiguity, promote transparency, and increase employee confidence. Effective internal communication has a favourable correlation with staff motivation (β = 0.60), work satisfaction (β = 0.55), and productivity (β = 0.45), according to structural equation modelling. The study underlines the importance of enhancing communication frameworks to improve organizational efficiency and competitive advantage in dynamic business environments.
