Abstract

Organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) stands as a cornerstone for fostering the sustainable development of any organization. In this research endeavor, the methodological approach employs bibliometrics to delve comprehensively into the knowledge structure and dynamic evolution trends of OCB. Scholars, in their multifaceted exploration, have scrutinized factors influencing both individual and group OCB, considering individual traits, diverse leadership styles, and organizational factors. The investigation of outcomes has honed in on performance metrics, the psychological states of employees, and observable behaviors. Crucial focal points within this research landscape include the nuanced definitions, nature, and scale of OCB, along with a keen examination of how various leadership styles intersect with and impact this behavior. Furthermore, the current hot topic involves a psychological perspective, delving into the influence of employees' mental states on OCB. Looking forward, the trajectory of research trends is poised to explore the diverse manifestations and connotations of OCB based on distinct motivational factors. This study not only equips scholars with a comprehensive understanding of OCB's knowledge structure and trends but also provides actionable insights for organizational managers to adeptly motivate OCB, thereby propelling the sustainable development of the organization.
